Law 5.3: If two fouls happen at once, the ref punishes the more serious one. Holding Raya’s arms in the 6 yard box is a massive tactical foul.
Law 10.1: A goal only counts if the scoring team committed NO offences immediately before the ball went in. If the attackers are holding the keeper, the goal is dead.
Law 12: Restricting a Goalkeepers movement at a corner is a direct free kick for the defense.
Verdict: If the attackers hold the keeper, the goal is disallowed regardless of what the defenders are doing elsewhere.

The same journalists and writers who have spent the better part of this season cooking up narrative after narrative against this club Arsenal?

The same people questioning Arteta's job security when we were top of the league.

The same people writing think-pieces about our "mentality" while Man United were swallowing 14 goals against Grimsby Town? 😂

You genuinely expected those people to give one of our players an award? 😂

We need to be serious for once.

United this season have played 37 games and won 18. Just 18. Arsenal have played 59 games across all competitions and already won 41. Forty-one wins. That is more wins than United will play in their entire season — in all competitions combined.

Bruno has been brilliant since Carrick took over. Genuinely. But that's roughly 15 games. Fifteen. Not playing in Europe. Knocked out of domestic cups since October. And somehow that's your FWA winner over players who have been elite for 11 months straight?

Gabriel. Saliba. Raya. Saka.. Declan Rice. Take your pick. Even if you want to argue with me about one of them, there are four others on that list you cannot dismiss their consistencies.

But the FWA will not vote for us. Not this season. Not with this agenda. They've made their feelings about this club and this manager very clear through their writing. Why would their voting be any different?

I said what I said and I moved on. Been silent on this since morning because it's simply not worth my energy.

The real awards are being contested at the top of the table and in the Champions League. That's where we live right now.
