Thompson’s Elizabeth Rosenstiel won the girls 132-pound wrestling national championship as wrestlers from Oak Mountain, Spain Park, Helena and Shelby County competed in the 2025 NHSCA High School Nationals.

Spain Park’s Bradley Williams finished out a second-straight unbeaten season with a state title while Oak Mountain’s Trey Denny and Chelsea’s Porter Schott won state titles and Helena and Pelham wrestlers placed.
