Thompson’s Elizabeth Rosenstiel won the girls 132-pound wrestling national championship as wrestlers from Oak Mountain, Spain Park, Helena and Shelby County competed in the 2025 NHSCA High School Nationals.

Spain Park’s Bradley Williams finished out a second-straight unbeaten season with a state title while Oak Mountain’s Trey Denny and Chelsea’s Porter Schott won state titles and Helena and Pelham wrestlers placed.

The Chelsea Hornets, Oak Mountain Eagles, Thompson Warriors, Spain Park Jaguars and Shelby County Wildcats all walked out of the Chelsea Invitational with division titles in the final meet before sectionals.
