A man who sleeps around with women (probably) is misogynistic and sexist because he views women he sleeps with as conquests and not people.

We saw him rape Matipa and Lindani. We saw him brag about how Joyce will never leave even when he continues to hurt her.

This is patriarchal socialisation in full force. A man who made it out the hood by becoming the very thing that undermined his existence (a lack of capital that wouldn’t have granted him what he views as access to women).

He is not gay, not secretly gay. He is a result of being socialised under the patriarchy. Men are belligerent because they are patriarchal, it isn’t inherent, nor does it point to a possibility of him being homosexual.
