It all started with a simple passion: collecting every 1st Edition Magikarp card in existence. 🐟👑
I built my X page (@KarpLrd) by consistently sharing my growing collection, updates, community hunts, and that pure splash energy. What began as a fun hobby account quickly turned into a vibrant community of collectors, meme lovers, and builders who vibe with the Karp spirit. 💦
Then came the big one — I got bagged by Finn, CEO of @BagsApp. He noticed the page, the dedication, and the real community behind it. That connection changed everything.
Suddenly doors flew open: we launched the $Magikarp token on Bags (CA: CYwajBHYQn9oPa9fJrhPuWziczSAbgg4mnssJZ6SBAGS), turning the collection vibe into something bigger. This opportunity gave us the platform and backing to create real IRL utility — tools that actual collectors use daily. @KarpLrd
Things like easy master set trackers (e.g., for Ascended Heroes and beyond at https://t.co/RKlSFZnQyq), collection logging, community features, and more on the way. No more messy notebooks or spreadsheets — real tools built by collectors, for collectors. The token now has genuine backing through these daily-use utilities, not just hype.
From splashing cards on X → getting noticed by one of the best launchpads → building actual product utility. Grateful for the journey and the Bags team.
We’re just getting started. If you’re building, collecting, or splashing — come join the pond. 🐟💦
Only possible on Solana🌊

Did you know?
Butterfree was designed basically to be an evolution tutorial in both the games and anime.
The games:
Caterpie was placed right at the start of Viridian Forest so brand new trainers could catch it almost immediately. It evolves at level 7 into Metapod, then again at level 10 into Butterfree — one of the fastest and earliest evolution lines in the entire game.
It was a deliberate tutorial designed to teach players how evolution works as early as possible.
The anime:
Ash catches Caterpie very early and evolves it quickly, showing the same lesson in a more emotional way.
Butterfree wasn’t just a cute early-game Pokémon… it was Game Freak’s first evolution teacher.
