I really liked the beta version of Tír Na NÓg: Between Worlds, now being crowdfunded by @GrndGmrsGld. If you might be interested in a crowdfunding campaign that is just about the great game being produced, and not about stretch goal mania, check it out!
Did have to mention how great it looks.
@brigetteidesign was the graphic designer and art director for Tír Na NÓg: Between Worlds, and it looks fabulous. She put @ArtforceBarends's amazing art to good use.
Thanks for @KoboldDude for joining @AyrkLeMastre and I to review games on the latest episode of @OnBoardGames.
Many games were talked about, some of them were excellent.

@jeffcannata Choosing not to play against confirmed cheaters is legit. But starting to play them, and then backing out without proof they are actually cheating is sour grapes.
My advice to people aspiring to write wfh comics;
You may not own the characters. But if you take an assignment, it’s essential to respect the characters and the readers. Do the best work you can every time, no matter the assignment. Every issue is important.

BBBB747. Pondering mechanics - Area Majority / Influence. ft. Alan Paull Thanks to Building Blocks of Tabletop Game Design from G. Engelstein and I. Shalev. @gengelstein@KindFortress Noting that this combines several mechanisms from the book. https://t.co/KXCyMXRSxr
Done with culture war discourse. Tired of real issues being framed around right wing talking points and stolen redefinitions.
I reject this framing.
Games are fun. Community should welcome the underrepresented; and bullies and nazis should feel unwelcome and unsafe.
Strong opinion: 20+ page rulebooks are unacceptable for games intended to have broad appeal.
In the pursuit of clarity and thoroughness, we ignore brevity at our collective peril.
Reading rules is _not fun_ for the vast majority of the market. Learning new games is a barrier.
