A final thank you! In the last year, we've held 12 exhibitions, 24 workshops, and 26 events including the South East Cultural Assembly, working with over 31 artists, writers, thinkers, researchers and creatives. We're so grateful to our team and all of you for the last 12 years💌
THE RISING TIDE AGAINST WHITE SUPREMACY ✊🏾 is an artwork by Matice Moore seeking a new home! We close our doors in less than 2 weeks & we want to re-home this large artwork to a Black- or PoC-led, LGBTQIA+ or educational space. Email [email protected] if you're interested ✨
We have been so moved by the loving messages we've received throughout about ONCA's closure. To hold all these offerings we're creating a digital guestbook ✨ Contribute your memories of ONCA or a message about how our organisation has impacted you: https://t.co/6ZlFUnZgnE

For over a decade, we've marked @lostspeciesday alongside a coalition of volunteers, drawing public attention to ecological loss. This year, creating containers to communally grieve feels profound & complex, not least having witnessed over a year of genocide in #Palestine.
@LostSpeciesDay The closure of ONCA Gallery at the end of 2025 also looms amidst the waves of loss. We're grateful to be able to offer a final programme of free activties to contemplate the stories of critically endangered species, cultures, lifeways and ecological communities.
🔦 Tokini Fubara is the last artist to ever exhibit at ONCA. Their exhibition 💧ibi minji faari💧 builds on previous works on race, space & borders, turning to the creeks surrounding their place of origin in Port Harcourt city, Nigeria.
