Success Story: Reunification of Woman with Family
A non local woman who had been provided shelter at One Stop Centre, Srinagar, on 16-07-2026 was successfully reunited with her family. The handover was conducted in the presence of officials from Kothi Bagh Police Station.

The successful reunification was achieved through coordinated efforts and collaboration between the One Stop Centre Srinagar and P.S Kothi Bagh.

On the night 16/07/2026, One Stop Centre Srinagar provided shelter to a non local woman who was in distress. The referral was made by Police Station Kothi Bagh. She will remain at the centre until arrangements are made for her safe repatriation.

A woman, along with her minor child, was given shelter, medical aid, and para legal assistance by the One Stop Centre. Within just 5 days, OSC Srinagar in collaboration with DLSA Srinagar successfully obtained residential, protection, and other relief orders under

the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA) from the Honourable District Court, Srinagar. She was able to return home with full dignity restored.
