-wildly to try and get herself up from beneath her.
"Shut... up, dammit. I was trying to do you a favor, putting you on my team, and this is how you thank me? It's got nothing to do with my strength, you're just an idiot!"
Screaming as her body careened towards the ground, wind leaving her lungs as she slammed down on her back. Coughing, gasping for breath, the trainer was wholly outmatched.
"Could've fooled me. Seem more like a fighting-type brute."
Hands clawing at Amaranth's leg, flailing--
Pain erupted in her guts, letting out a pained gasp as blood dripped down her lips.
She'd never encountered a Pokรฉmon with a real fighting spirit like this. All the creatures around the outskirts of the school were weak. Easy to intimidate. Likely by design.
But Mela'd-
-clearly wandered too far from her comfort zone, and she was paying the price.
"...I don't think I want to catch you. I'll settle for ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ instead."
Taking a swing of her own towards the other's head, just trying to break herself free. She just-
-thank me for letting you live somewhere that's not the shitty wilderness. You get it?"
Making no move to pull out of her grasp, though, as if she expected her words to convince her to submit.
Gritting her teeth, glaring daggers at the mon's face before rearing back and letting a glob of spit fly towards her face, splattering her directly in the forehead.
"I don't think you get how this shit works. You're the Pokรฉmon. I'm the trainer. I call the shots, you-
-so slow, she didn't even realize what was happening until it had already been done. But at least it made her look slightly cooler.
"Oh? Got a mouth on you, huh? Good, then I can hear you pledge loyalty to me."
If the Pokรฉmon knows what's good for her, she'll comply. Why would she listen to all those boring lectures about catch rates and status conditions when she can go out there and do it for herself!
Not even flinching from the warning punch.
...Mostly because her reflexes were-
Oh, good! She can't catch her without her coming closer.
"Finally learning your lesson, huh? I won't even throw the ball too hard if you get on your knees and beg me to catch you."
Smirking as she tossed a ball up into the air, catching it as it came down. Acting like she-
Lysandre wishes he could be half the trainer Mela is.
And as /if/ anyone's edgier than her! That's even more insulting than comparing her to that half-assed megalomaniac!
Now she'd better quit moving so she can clock her over the head with another ball.
