@polyweatheryuan You think from a professional trader perspective: you ask for endpoint / cache behaviour.
Polymarket is for retail traders, not bots that eat the liquidity.
WU has a user friendly interface and well recognised in the weather community, has been around for 20+ y and is legit
@Polymarket solution to liquidity: kill longer-dated weather markets (d1+).
Now many Asian and European cities only have d0 markets. Great for concentrating liquidity, except there's barely anything left to trade.
@0xMarchyel@Polymarket I made some suggestions on how to do better; when thinking about strategy, PM should push these markets even more: the sports space is crowded, politics are none recurrent, war markets bring bad publicity… while betting on temperatures is fun ☀️
@0xMarchyel@Polymarket Ahah funny as I posted the opposite yesterday 😂 it is better but remains limited on new cities.. This should be the minimum indeed…
Still a huge liquidity problem despite rewards at the moment… any ideas how to make it better? Increase the rewards? Close some cities? Feature weather more on the homepage?
