Chase (verb)
pursue in order to catch or catch up with.
The act of chasing at its core requires the following assumption: that which is being chased remains out of reach.
The more you chase, the more that which is being chased will engage in the act of staying out of grasp.
In other words, in order to get to where you want to be the goal should be to operate at a level (physically and mentally) which is aligned with the next level.
To be a consistently profitable trader, you must already be operating at a level consistent with being a profitable trader long before you reach this goal.
To be a fit and healthy individual, you need to have already cultivated all the habits necessary to get in shape.
To be disciplined, you need to believe that you possess the grit necessary to reject short-term gratification.
It isn’t out of reach.
You haven’t allowed yourself and/or have not been consistently operating at a level where it comes to you.
