@TaroNuke in the generalized definition of a square, the angles don't have to be right, they just have to be equal - so you can have spherical and hyperbolic squares like the ones here https://t.co/sj0MYW4YXA

@TaroNuke yea the problem here is the word "shape" - a square specifically has to be a polygon, so the sides have to be line segments

even then there's probably some non-euclidean geometry you could construct where these _are_ straight line segments and thus this is still a square
