In order to successfully navigate marriage we must operate in love. The trouble is our sinful nature. It’s so self seeking, and unwilling to forgive. We have to learn to die to those feelings over and over and over again and consistently choose love.

The best way to help your spouse grow is to focus on your own growth. It’s an age old concept but, leading by example still works.

Falling in and out of love is a false concept. Love is completely active and not something that can be fallen in or out of. What it takes to love, you have to choose to do. And the same way you choose to do it, you have to choose to stop.
