Norway just sent 1,000 kg of their own food to the World Cup — including fish, cheese, and 6,000 oranges — rather than risk American produce.

Why? U.S. oranges aren't even naturally orange anymore. They're often green clones dyed with Citrus Red No. 2 (a petroleum-based dye labeled a human carcinogen), dipped in ammonia baths, coated in morpholine (banned in 31 countries), and gassed with ethylene until they're basically petrochemical fruit.

Even the fungicides left behind are so toxic that a simple baking soda soak removes up to 95% of residue — yet unwashed U.S. oranges still flag cancer-linked chemicals.
