Earlier today, we had an engagement with the @MoLGUganda, where we discussed opportunities for collaboration in the implementation of the Data Protection and Privacy Act Cap. 97.

Local governments play a vital role in serving communities, and their involvement is key to promoting a culture of privacy and accountability in the handling of personal data. By working together, we can ensure that the law is not only understood but meaningfully applied at all levels.
