All my quarantine eye looks!
As much as this lockdown has been a drag, it’s been nice to actually do looks on myself and have the time to be as creative as I want.
@Rwlshmakeup I’m REALLY picky about bronzer shades, especially for deeper skin tones, so I have probably 20 in total? The main ones I use are cream (@UomaBeauty has the best shades IMO) bc I feel like cream doesn’t give a weird flashback
@kattenbarge Her apologies for being anti Semitic are always half assed. She’s been called out so many times. She just clearly doesn’t respect Jewish people.
@trishapaytas You’ve been called out for anti Semitism many times, and you never take it seriously or listen. From the outside, it looks like you don’t respect Jewish people. The fact that YOU released those texts shows you don’t care that it’s offensive
@lostingreeneyes@jeffwittek@YouTube Why do people think it’s so weird for people to profit off their OWN story? That’s literally what all artists/musicians/storytellers have done since the beginning of time
@espixc @trishapaytas Not at all, they’re a podcast that can talk about whatever they want, and they’re choosing to spend their time defending the victim and calling people out. Everyone monetizes everything, it’s the message that matters.
@ntvwitch I’m glad you said it. I always felt so weird when people said I’m not white because I’m native. My foundation shade is literally sand, how am I gonna pretend I’m not a white girl 🥴
@thegoodtsis@IvyKungu Over time this could dry them out and make the bristles brittle. I would condition them every once in a while so they last longer and stay soft ✨
@shaleyybaby If you don’t want to pay a mua, that’s 100% reasonable. But trashing someone that has spend thousands of dollars on training and product is so disrespectful
@shaleyybaby How often are you getting your makeup done a year? Maybe once or twice? So that’s $300 a year. But getting your hair cut and colored once a month can be $500 easily. That’s $6000 a year with no complaints.
@shaleyybaby As a working mua, I make sure my kit is clean, everything is sanitary, I carry enough foundation to with with every skin tone, and that that’s a lot of practice and knowledge that the average person doesn’t have.
@shaleyybaby I never said $500 for a trim. For me, I get my roots bleached and toned for $250, and a haircut for $100, then add tip. If I can’t afford it I do it myself, but when I pay a professional it’s because I want it done right. Same concept with makeup.
@shaleyybaby You absolutely do not NEED to spend money on a mua, but if you do it needs to be worth the makeup artists time. I like in nyc, so my rates are also going to be higher than somewhere else.
