The one thing that will mess up most companies/people going remote... the inability to synthesize, articulate, and provide actionable feedback.
The peeps who can't work remotely will for sure fall behind cause nobody wants to work with their archaic methods.
If you find yourself at a company where:
Career ladders > customer value
Face time > actual work
Quarterly metrics > Long term goals
Slide decks + meetings > Docs
Consider not wasting your life anymore.
Onboarding into a community is the perfect opportunity to set the tone and call people in.
Don't overwhelm folks with too much information but do help them learn how to start connecting with members.
Most "north star metrics" are things like:
- # of trials/wuarter
- # of leads/channel
- # of messages/user
