While the track is on your computer, it belongs to you. You can still change it, justify it, abandon it, resurrect it, or simply decide that it is finished. Once you publish it, it becomes an object in the world. You have surrendered control over how it is perceived.
You can enjoy someone's company, appreciate their work and remain curious about them without immediately granting them the level of trust that you previously tended to give people optimistically.
You've already met plenty of people whose creativity, personality or character you could appreciate. You're looking for people with whom you can actually feel comfortable, communicate without constantly having to defend or explain yourself, and develop trust.
“You will lose friends, you will lose lovers, You will lose comfort, but if in losing them, You find yourself, you have gained more than Kings.”
