@ksatnews I hope they find the person responsible and hold them much more accountable for this since they fled. Should be like attempted murder plus the hit and run causing injury and whatever traffic violation. If they weren't guilty of attempted murder they would have stuck around imo..
@cannedpears@ksatnews@grok The real question is, have you seen one that wasn't poorly written. They always leave out the most important details we want to know. Like how many times, what to do to prevent that for us, and what neighborhood it happened in among other things to name just a couple.
No, He didnt do anything. Remember the Autopen drama? Apparently not but its still being investigated as well but because witness and confessions are almost none, as well as specifics of use, chances of anything more than an investigation are very low. Unless that is over and we can say no illegal use was commited, I say NOT A CHANCE!
She could have also just got a scholarship to a college or university she couldnt have gone to otherwise or won a car like a student just did at a Graduation Ceremony here just did but you are probably oblivious to those things too s8nce good journalism is impossible to find anymore or you would have known that stuff already.
Your bare minimum achievement comment makes you an ass because some families are still seeing a first graduate from high school because that is exactly what segregation has done to some in society and its not even close to being resolved. WHY? Because of SHITTY journalism not sharing THE REAL FACTS LIKE I JUST DID!
Families affected by historical and ongoing systemic segregation continue to face deep educational disparities today. While overall graduation rates are at historic highs, localized residential segregation and underfunded school districts mean that multi-generational cycles of non-graduation persist.
Look it up and get some insight AND knowledge before you post stupid shit that is WRONG!
@laralogan Is this what you do at work all day is look at memes that idiots who have nothing better to do come up with? Maybe both you and them should go get a REAL job.
@News4SA So was the abandoned vehicle his, were there signs of foul play, did he have any trauma or blood on him, how long was the vehicle there from the time he was missing? So many reasons why nobody wants to watch your news or read it. At least answer the obvious questions!
And this is how a quick search debunks your thought immediately:
Both the criminal and civil cases are currently ongoing in the New York court systems with no final disposition or sentencing reached.
Criminal Case Details
Current Status: The criminal case remains an open matter in Queens County Criminal Court.
Plea: Leanna Perry has pleaded not guilty to all nine misdemeanor and violation charges. These include multiple counts of attempted assault, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of governmental administration.
Court Action: As of the latest court updates, prosecutors were actively weighing whether to condition a potential future resolution on Perry completing mandatory anger management or substance abuse counseling.
Civil Lawsuit Details
Current Status: The civil lawsuit, Rombola v. Southwest Airlines Co. and Leanna Perry, remains an active, ongoing litigation in the New York State Supreme Court.
The Claims: Plaintiff Livia Rombola is seeking unspecified financial damages from both defendants. The case centers on negligence, asserting that Southwest failed to enforce FAA regulations regarding visibly intoxicated passengers.
Corporate Policy Impact: Legal experts note that Rombolaβs attempt to hold the airline liable for its long-standing open-seating policy enters rare, untested legal territory. Coincidentally, Southwest announced a permanent transition to assigned seating, though subsequent policy changes are generally inadmissible as evidence of prior negligence in court.
@RepJasmine My wife at over 45 now has been disabled all her life from Cerebral Palsy at birth with function of 1 arm and 2 fingers and was never on SSI until we are trying now and cannot get it (denied twice so far) because they say she hasnt worked enough hours.
You talk about a paraplegic governor in different ways, but we never used the system now we can't get it but deserve it more than most and you seem to be right on it.. What kind of a system is this? What kind of job can she get with the ability to slowly grab things with 2 fingers and I mean SLOWLY (she would probably drop it before, if it were needing moved also).
The system put in place to help us is also hurting those needing it most. Nobody under 18 should get SSI, medical and child care maybe but money, hell no! Parents had their child so they can take care of their child as they should. If they need help then Medical and child care and food stamps may be an option but for SSI I think anyone under 18 should be eliminated for money payouts and left for medical and childcare assistance only as well as custom devices required by the disabled person WHO IN THIS CASE CANNOT WORK.
Food Banks, Churches, and other organizations can help with other needs of others who need it but accountability and availability should be considered and made effective NOW.
Can you Help make changes like this because those that can apparently are not fixing it.?
@timburchett Are we not surprised? Only thing that gets done are things everyone agrees with and the rest get tossed or ties up the system in other places so nothing gets done. Worse part is NONE OF IT is in agreement with THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES, WHERE ARE OUR REAL REPRESENTATIVES?
