My blog about my journey as a Trainee Nursing Associate has just been published as a 3 page spread in the British Journal for Healthcare Assistants! 😍
Couldn't be happier right now!
Thank you to @HCAssistants for reaching out to me!
@OUHospitals@ClaireWardle4 @SafetySamFoster
What a great day we had too!
Such an amazing opportunity to be able to gain a better insight into other professions and how our roles interlink together to play a part in a patients pathway! Lots to take away from today and put into practice!
#bnuodp along with our midwife and paramedic faculty delivered an amazing I inter professional conference today. Raising awareness of professional roles and teaching key aspects of patient care! Super proud of all those involved!
We want to say a special thank you to all the #NursingAssociates on our register today, on the fourth anniversary since the first of you received your PINs 🎉
Thank you for everything that you do 💙
@MrsLucyGooding @shinybluedress@TeamMirzaChess @KatBarberRN @MrsLucyGooding is correct. My understanding is yes originally the plan was that Band 4 nursing associates wouldn’t be able to give CDs or IVs however like all jobs things change over time and in some trusts if extra training is provided then they are able to do IVs 👍
