@RoseStokes But we are getting married for ourselves as well. I never believed marriage was for me until I met him, I saw how miserable it made my mum. But with him, it's different. And he feels the same so yeah... its like saying he's my person the same way I'm saying his son is my son.

@RoseStokes In the process of getting married (covid allowing) my stepson lost his mum when he was 4 and his dad had aggressive cancer when he was 8; when I met him, he was so scared about what would happen to him if his dad died. So we're getting married to give him a sense of security.

@BridieBunny My mum ironed my jeans whilst I had my back to her washing up to warm my butt cheek up, she did it every time. Only this time she forgot she was using her new high steam iron and I now have a scar in the shape of an iron on my butt lol
