@treeecitybeats As with any art, it is worth what someone is willing to pay, so it's almost best to just have a venmo/paypal link, set a hard price for your work, and then market the crap put of it.

@treeecitybeats The biggest question is "How often are people re-listening to songs?" You can sell a song for a flat rate, but it may get pirated/shared. Streaming services can only pay so much per listen, so touring is the primary financial gain for an artist.

@treeecitybeats A platform to puts money directly in an artists' wallet is ideal, but at some point the developer has to cover cost of programmers, servers, maintenance, etc, so they take a cut (which grows over time).

The only way to solve that basic societal need is by tying the minimum wage increases to that of inflation and COLA.

@LuxePosh Had to go into a Target today, maybe saw 10 people wearing masks, everyone else was maskless. I always wear a mask if I have to go anywhere and keep multiple in the car. I just don't understand how people can be so oblivious.
