@DuvalMagic@Hecklezz @thereal_scottv @steam_games Call me crazy, but I think the “victims” are the physically disabled fans who wont be able to play bc Epic lacks launcher-level controller support, OTF remapping and support for alternative controllers like Steam has. Or does BL3 natively support foot switches & breath controls?
@Borderlands@DuvalMagic@2k It doesn’t matter if the game supports if people can’t get the launcher to recognize foot switches & allow remapping them to system/other tasks to launch/quit/etc. Steam handles all of that so your controller sup still works for disabled people. 2/2
@Borderlands@DuvalMagic@2k Disabled gamers need access to launcher level controller support, OTF remapping, and support for non-traditional controllers, buttons, and switches (all on Steam). Being exclusive with a company that lacks these features alienates disabled gamers. 1/2
@Obsidian@OuterWorlds Epic lacks features critical for disabled gamers, like adaptive controller support. I can only buy 2-3 new games a year. This was my #1, but you can be damn sure I won’t be paying for it now. What a dumpster fire! #TheOuterWorlds#ablegamers#disabledgamers
@mkxmobile@neversoft Also, I’ll pass on MK11 if there isn’t a proper resolution, because I’ve already spent that money in MKXM, and I don’t trust that MK11 won’t be treated the same way.
@mkxmobile@neversoft not only that, but souls I saved for the update are useless because there were no new cards available in the store AND you took away the cards I WAS upgrading and made them diamond! I’m so done. I have no incentive to play or pay any more. 2/2
@mkxmobile@neversoft I have spent more money than I’m comfortable admitting and literally hundreds of hours in-game. I leave town for a week and return to find find I cant buy the characters I want to upgrade any more? 1/
@hulu_support Why are some shows from Cartoon Network, Disney, etc. gated behind a Live TV subscription despite not airing live in over a decade? One example is Teen Titans, which ended ~13 years ago. Bravo TV’s National Lampoons European Vacation (1985) is also blocked by Live.
@GreggBeratan Yep. It’s about r/aww where cute photos are posted, but which frequently, as you said, objectify disabled people. What I found very interesting, though, were the comments. The discussion is happening in r/disability, and the split in how the community views this is very apparent.
@GreggBeratan There is an interesting discussion happening on reddit regarding a group of moderators and their stance on inspiration porn. https://t.co/UyGw1Al4CR

@HarrisTeeter The grocery pickup service is great for people with disabilities, but this stuff is maddening. The person assembling the order KNEW that the deli had screwed up but didn’t bother to fix it. I appreciate the note, but I would much prefer getting what I pay for.
@DrewGriffinCNN May not be you, but someone should check the Amtrak twitter. Hottest time of the year, and they have multiple full trains stranded. My car is missing A/C & they had to announce that there is no ice left onboard. Airlines got backhanded for the same a few years ago
@GreggBeratan That person just got upset when I questioned the position, and blocked me rather than answering. I don’t see how access to attorneys during the process is bad, much less racist. I’m genuinely curious why people would feel that way.
Hey @GreggBeratan — I got called ableist (lol) and strangely a bigot when I questioned @inkinorbit’s assertion that access to contingency-fee attorneys during SSDI is ableist, racist, & problematic. They couldn’t explain their position, can you? I just don’t see it. #disability
