Peter Thiel: “We’ve tried to do too much investing in Europe. It’s always sort of a junket.”
“It’s a nice place to go on vacation as an investor.”
“It’s a very strange thing—the US is somehow still the country where people do new things.”

Wow, where do I even begin…
Last week I was in a villa in Cape Town with a group of the Netherlands' best tech entrepreneurs. One mission: build five companies in five days.
What started as an experiment turned into one of the most intense and eye-opening weeks of my life.
The speed that AI brings is truly unprecedented. Ideas get validated in minutes. Prototypes are up within hours and full products within a day.
My biggest insight is actually pretty simple: technology accelerates everything, but the magic happens when you bring the right people together.
This leaves me wanting more... SO much more... 👀
On April 29th, the documentary of this week premieres (because yes, EVERYTHING was captured on camera!) at H'ART Amsterdam. You need to be there.
Thank you to the ultimate firestarter Marleen Evertsz for bringing this incredible group together. And to all the founders for an unforgettable week. We will NEVER forget this! ❤️
