When someone uses AI in game dev, it might mean using it for coding, text generation, brainstorming/ ideas and not asset generation or other 2D and 3D art.
I don't want to support AI in any way and that is not the point of this post (just to be clear) I just think that maybe people think of genAI immediately, as you did, and maybe that's the reason they are so negative and absolute about it. Not that they shouldn't, I'm just curious to see how people feel.
