The recent snowfall means it's a great weekend for some area biathlon competitions! Competitions took place at @Kamview in Thunder Bay and @NakkertokNordic in Gatineau. Successful teams move on to the Regional Biathlon Competition February 8 and 9.

HISTORIC TRIP FOR SKEENA CADETS
One of many exciting 2019 cadet trips was made by Port Hope's 116 RCSCC Skeena to Iceland this fall -- honouring the 15 crew members who lost their lives with HMCS Skeena (D59) in late 1944. #CadetsRemember#SeaCadets#TributeTuesday
THREE TOWN CHRISTMAS CONNECTION
The 1913 Ontario Regiment Cadet Corps, based in Oshawa, marched in the 2019 Whitby Santa Claus Parade, Dec. 7. With an apparent Peterborough connection (see sticker at top of second photo), the activity was very municipally diverse. #2019WSCP

CALLING ON OAKVILLE / BURLINGTON CADETS
To add a bit of geographical flavour to our online content, we are starting to feature cadets from different parts of the region (Ontario) each month. December will highlight cadet units in Oakville and Burlington, on the GTA's west side.
