Zach and Tom share their thoughts on the Mario movie, make their opinions known about Baby Names, and share some NSFW trivia regarding the 36th President. Plus, an extended segment in which Zach tries to identify an esoteric DC character.

@JamesGunn the most important point is this: Julie Newmar is still alive. Please work with @TomKingTK to do some kind of old Selina reflecting on her past as a framing device in the Brave and Bold movie
King is ideal to write for Newmar. His writing for Catwoman perfect for her.
So as the head of DC Studios, I give the script to people I trust (like my exec Chantal Nong or DC comics writer @TomKingTK) and get their thoughts about what works well and what could work better so I can improve the script.
Zach and Tom revisit Wes Anderson's filmography once more, discuss their preferred Star Wars viewing order, and argue for why a week-to-week television release is usually better.

Tonight the Marvel rewatch reminded me that despite being written and directed by a horrible person, that first Avengers movie is real good.
Delightful movie.
@WeAreZach17 @ejfeddes I just feel like the aggregate average of the top four X-men movies is higher than marvels — I haven’t seen Days of Future Past in a while, so I can’t speak to shelf life
X-Men’s 4 best (Logan, X2, First Class, Days of Future Past)
Are better than the MCU’s 4 best (pick any four)
@ejfeddes @WeAreZach17 and anyone else, please discuss.
It's been a bit since we last recorded a new episode, so we've got some catching up to do! Tom's got some issues with the Mandalorian, Zach's has theories about "Hail, Caesar!", and the boys try to determine which actors can pass "The Wes Test."

Zach has car troubles. Tom has dating blunders. A pitch for a southern gothic version of Peter Pan is made. It’s another all-around classic episode.

It’s pretty funny that “Dua Lipa” and “dual IPA” are spelled the same. Unfortunately there’s no good way to take that into joke territory. The best you can do is just point it out.
@ejfeddes If he’d have just let Black Adam be a villain — and be okay losing fights — and not have a bizarre obsession with fighting Superman — that movie could’ve actually led to some cool things.
But also Zachary Levi is a yikes, so ultimately maybe we didn’t miss out on much 🤷🏻♂️
@ejfeddes Somewhat related — the rate of speed at which The Rock has single-handedly let his ego bring him from box office bet/beloved to absolute poison/control freak is crazy to me.
