Honestly, I think we’ve reached the point where it’s not just about people being dirty anymore. The waste management system itself seems overwhelmed, and when collection isn’t regular, everywhere starts smelling.

Please what is the reason behind this level of dirt in Lagos state?
These days, If you ain't careful, you might vomit in the market because the smell in the air is so terrible.

@Oreofe_06@ThiagoUtdA It’s actually beyond just people littering. When waste collection, drainage maintenance, enforcement and proper disposal systems are inconsistent, the dirt quickly becomes overwhelming.

The hard spank waking her up was lucky, but I wouldn’t rely on that again. If someone cannot be properly awakened after taking medication, treat it as a medical emergency.
This could easily have become an emergency.
A person being unusually difficult to wake after taking a sleeping drug is not something to manage with repeated attempts to wake them.
My neighbour’s roommate rushed to me this morning, panicking
Her roommate had been sleeping since yesterday around 1 p.m. She had complained of body pain and stress, so she recommended a sleeping drug her dad uses. The girl bought it from a pharmacy and took it
She had been sleeping deeply ever since. They tried calling her name and waking her, but nothing worked.
I went in, called her name, tapped her and eventually gave her a really really hard spank.
She woke up.
The relief on her roommate’s face was something else
But honestly, this could have ended very differently. Please don’t recommend medication simply because it works for someone else.
What helps one person sleep can affect another person very differently

@Oreofe_06@kenkenlewu The roommate meant well, but medication isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. A sleeping drug that helps one person could cause excessive sedation or other serious effects in another.

It happens when the baby’s brain doesn’t split into two halves properly in the first few weeks of pregnancy days 18–28
Main causes
• Genetic mutations or chromosomal problems
• Maternal diabetes
• Certain toxins or medications during early pregnancy
• Sometimes no clear reason is found
Most cases are random and not the parents’ fault.
Imagine your body doing this intense cleanup every month and people still asking why you’re moody or tired
This visual alone should shut down every
it’s not that deep comment
Women carry this quietly and still show up.
The least the world can do is offer grace without making them ask for it
This isn’t a doll
I’ve personally seen a newborn with this presentation and written about the condition cyclopia.
It’s a rare developmental disorder where the brain and facial structures don’t separate properly, resulting in a single central eye
Tragic, but very real.
That video just reminded me how close we all came to never existing
Billions of sperm, one egg, perfect timing, successful implantation
and somehow that exact combination became the person reading this right now.
No wonder some people get emotional watching this stuff.
It’s literally your origin story in 76 seconds.
This really made me remember my childhood friend. She’s no longer here today because she didn’t go to the hospital for her delivery.
She developed complications, and by the time she was taken to the hospital, it was already too late
Yesterday, I went to a clinic to present a case, and I witnessed something that really broke my heart.
A woman was carrying triplets
two girls and a boy. She was advised to deliver in a registered hospital, but she went to a midwife who was operating from a church setting.
Her husband had gone to work when the midwife called to tell him that she had delivered the first baby. Shortly after, the woman developed serious complications and needed immediate hospital care.
Her husband rushed her to the hospital, but by the time she arrived, it was already too late.
The first baby survived. The other two babies had died in her womb. Sadly, the mother also died.
Three babies were coming into the world. One survived, two were lost, and a mother lost her life too.
It was painful watching the husband and family trying to process everything.
