G36. I had many entry weapons. The G36 was always my favorite. The green Ford Explorer is my Tactical Team car. We were the bastard children of our agency. We had a great team. The department gave us the worst of the cars. It was the best of times.

All of those questions need to be asked of the senates staffers. We need reporters to start hitting staffers with these hard questions. It’s the staffers preparing legislation, it’s the staffers ass you have to kiss or get blackballed from ever having anything get past them. The staffers are blocking the SAVE America Act. The senate STAFFERS run the senate! We need to start finding them in the halls and asking them the hard questions.

I never feared about my own death, it was my families safety. I recently patched and painted the bullet hole over my garage and replaced my son’s front bedroom window where fragmentation left a hole. The suspect responsible had 29 felony arrests before I arrested him for burglary to a residence. Not even spraying my house kept him in prison. He is finally in prison, but not until the broken system allowed him to shoot and kill a man during a robbery. I watched that victim bleed out internally. Nothing could be done him. The courts should face the same dangers everyday citizens face until the system is repaired!

I still believe that if a man sheds an innocents blood then by man his blood shall be shed. (Gen 9:6). I also understand the transliteration of the bibles differentiation between killing (war, animals etc) being allowed and murder “Thou shall not murder” (taking the life of an innocent). “Thou shall not kill” is what confuses a lot of people. The word in the original text is not kill, it’s murder. That’s a critical distinction. Having said this, the last couple of decades have proved you right MOM. Why does the elite almost never get punished? This imbalance of justice seems to be growing.

Jared, retired police officer here. I have debilitating injuries from getting hit and run over by a car being driven by a 15 year old burglary suspect. Those injuries cost me the last four years of my career. Want to know where I was standing? At the back passenger window. I could hear his two juvenile accomplices yelling to run me over. But that couldn’t happen as you say. But it did. The driver turned toward me and the vehicle sped forward at angle, ran over my left foot drawing my left hip inward, throwing me over the hood of my car. The Asst State’s Attorney asked me why I didn’t shoot him. I knew it was a kid and I was trying to give him a chance. But my decision not to shoot didn’t just cost me. It almost cost the life of and ended the career of another officer in a different jurisdiction whom Stephen Ferguson (the suspect) ran over a couple months later. I suggest, kindly, go to your local department and ask for force on force training. I guarantee you’ll learn something. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
