@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE No I'd say the distinction that you made is one that is not made clearly enough in the manga. And moreso I was referring to in arguments. Arguments have been happening since the chapter came out and I've never heard anyone put it quite the way you did
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Scene and applying it to the dialogue and what Hyo does is just something I hadn't done. Partially because I was content with where I was at.
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE No, this is a 5-year-old debate. I was tired of it 5 years ago. And analyzation is always better when you get to listen to other people's interpretations and argue them. Cuz other people will always notice things that you might have skipped. Like taking in the full context of the
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE That is free to be your interpretation. I personally don't think it makes much sense for him to describe basic armament haki but show advanced usage without even stating the difference between his words and his demonstration
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Again, my argument isn't that it is. Just that it's possible. My actual point is simply that Zoro was using ryou regardless. So thank you for conceding that
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Please point to where that clarification is made because it's not on the page of your original tweet. And to be clear, I'm not even sure we're talking about the same thing, when you say flow, what specifically are you referring to?
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Which you absolutely are correct that all ryou is haki but not all ryou is flow. But, that panel in no way proves that coating weapons is not flow.
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Literally the page after the one you're using to say that hyo is describing basic armament is him using emission as the example of what he's talking about
https://t.co/JGBok4iKez
@19thHYPOCRITE It's gorgeous that you intentionally left out the panel that debunks this because no haki going over your weapon does not make Ryuo it's still BASE ARMAMENT hygoro explains this before RYUO "FLOW" WHICH IS HAKI OUTWARD. Ryuo means haki is wano but it's not ALL flow.
@DiegoAl06047527@The_HerosEngine@19thHYPOCRITE So again, don't know if you've paid attention or you want actually engaging with the core of my argument. I do not care about whether or not coating weapons is considered flow or basic. I literally point out that it does not matter for my argument. Also why would coating
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE I'm not sure you even understand what I'm arguing cuz so far you haven't put forth a point that argues against the conclusion I've put forth, that Zoro uses flow in wano.
@The_HerosEngine@DiegoAl06047527@19thHYPOCRITE Kuja pirates don't prove or disprove the idea that coating weapons is flow. And again, if you read my tweets, you should know that rather coating is flow or not doesn't matter to the point I'm making
@DiegoAl06047527@The_HerosEngine@19thHYPOCRITE Coating weapons is not emission (which is perfectly fine), Enma literally forces the user to use emission. And thus yes zoro does have the same level of ryou as hyogoro. That's not fan made extrapolation, that is again just fact from the story
@DiegoAl06047527@The_HerosEngine@19thHYPOCRITE Emma quite literally uses ryou. It forcibly draws out haki from you and into your attack. Which drawing haki from the places you do not need into your attack, is exactly what hyogoro was telling Luffy to do when trying to teach him emission. So even if you want to say that
