The Arizona House of Representatives are going to vote on SB1118 next week. Please take a minute to read my thoughts and if you agree please call the following representatives and respectfully ask them to reconsider their vote and support SB1118 with a “YES” vote:
1/2
Community leader Aaron Montaño Searles makes it clear: We don't need to sacrifice our historic neighborhoods to add more housing. We can have both, and HB2375 delivers that balance. The House moved it forward—now it’s up to the Senate.

@maryjpitzl Liguori knows better. Legal staffof Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Yuma, etc. have vetted HB2375 and do not share her “concerns”. They support the bill. Liguori should have shown concern for historic districts before voting to make them the prime targets for upzoning in 2024.
@MaricopaVote I've reached out to your office several times about a random person falsely using my home address to register to vote. A sample ballot for this person was mailed to my home address. Your employees say there is nothing they can do about it(?) @AZSecretary
Thoroughly enjoying a quiet morning outside with my coffee ☕️ and the puppies 🐶 You know what’s missing? Planes ✈️ flying over the house. #NewFlightPaths#QuietSkies Thanks @PHXSkyHarbor
Today, the FAA returned the NW departures at PHX to their former routes, and for the first time in 3 1/2 years, I can enjoy a peaceful afternoon in my own back yard without horrendous jet noise. Thanks to the City of Phoenix, PHX and our Historic Districts for making it happen!
