Video has appeared online confirming a Ukrainian drone strike on the Russian Baltic Fleet corvette “Boykiy” in Kronstadt.
The cost of the corvette is estimated at around half a billion dollars.
@Conguill@CzechLuciOut Ireland is up 25% in 2025 from 2021. Top Product is Dual Use Alumina, then pharmaceuticals, then essential oils/perfumes/toiletries, then Dual Use Optical and Photo equipment, then cereals and grains.
@Conguill@CzechLuciOut The czech government continues to track down machinery being exported through 3rd parties. Top categories of direct export are Pharmaceuticals, Organic Chemicals, building mechanical systems (think boilers and furnaces), Beer, Vegetable Oil. 2025 down 87% from 2021.
@cantwell_j44933@CzechLuciOut The dad who works 60 hours a week at a sweaty difficult job to feed his kids is still fair game to criticize if he smacks one of them around for being gay.
This plant is providing 10% of this vital war resource to Russia in exchange for 450 jobs. Not worth it.

You literally typed into AI to ask it to come up with some whataboutism for you. The AI is pulling from a list of companies facing investigations for breaking sanctions. She's asking for ireland to treat this company like Czechia treated those ones.
@narkyanarchist@CzechLuciOut That's a pretty fatalistic attitude about sanctions. Sanction evasion has been very expensive for Russia, that's money they can't spend killing Ukrainians. Sanctions have forced russia to divest, and frozen the proceeds from that divestiture to then be lent to Ukraine .
@DethCrusade@CzechLuciOut So, importing from Russia gives them cash, which helps them finance their war. But exporting Alumina to Russia gives them the raw material they use to build bombs that kill civilians. Ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, glide bombs, cluster bombs, all use alumina.
@criticalurban I have no idea what you are talking about. Can you lease link to one of these websites you claim without basis that I am paroting verbatim?
@criticalurban That is a pretty hollow criticism. I keep bringing up points you haven’t got an answer for. You aren’t frustrated because of some defect in my comments, you’re frustrated because you’re trying to defend a position you’ve never thought through.
@sheila_sq@criticalurban There is a finite amount of space. The vast majority of New Yorkers don’t commute by car. Why should they give up more of their precious space to something they don’t use?
The Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum of 2026 (SPIEF 2026) in Russia has started with a very fiery keynote speech by the Ukrainian surprise guests.
