@TonyBellitta The screen that you now have is the ONLY blue screen from the @defcon@DC_BHV OpenHAK edition. Can it be a goose egg if it happens as a repair/replace?
@blutection@kickstarter Anyone who wants to learn more about fitness tracking and data. And folks who like to control their personal data. And folks who like to hack hardware and software.
It's become pretty clear that we won't make our goal for the @kickstarter campaign so we are going to pull the fundraiser down. Many theories about why it's so anemic
It's August
Fitness Tracker Fatigue
We didn't pay an advertising company $$$

@kickstarter We got a great response from the @defcon@DC_BHV Biohacking Village! They SOLD OUT of the badges we made for them! #badgelife
you want to keep in touch and know what's up, follow us here and join the forum. There are 100+ OpenHAKs out there!

@ivor_hewitt The OpenHAK has a 6 axis IMU on board which is available via firmware. We've been meaning to do a motion capture demo, and release some sample code, so maybe you've twisted our arms!
@MaxLebRoom Let me double check, I think the build issue was that the play store doesn't want older apps, but I can build a version that supports lower Android version. Give me a day or so to check into it
@sawaba The OpenHAK uses an 18mm wide band. Unfortunately the pebble is a 22mm. Depending on feedback, we'll look into supporting a different size. So maybe throw your hat into the Kickstarter?? https://t.co/kVBROq9dcw
We've gotten a bunch of folks writing us to ask if they can get the Screen AND the Vibe Motor on an OpenHAK. Well, what do you know! Now you can!!

@DK344@GeekyGadgets We currently have no plans to seek FDA approval. The skin resistance measurement is definitely something we've talked about and will provide guidance on how to implement. The hardware design includes a breakout connector for just this kind of idea!
From flying high with @DroneRaceLeague to becoming master of your own fitness data with @Open_HAK, our next Invent newsletter is packed with projects that let you take tech into your hands. Sign up to see it: https://t.co/nXjJqUS7Nv
Oh, by the way, just want to mention that we had good times at #DEFCON27 with Biohacking Village @DC_BHV as their badge maker with @Open_HAK The Open Source Fitness Tracker. Don't worry if you missed out! You still get the OpenHaK on Kickstarter https://t.co/Y7m6pEPjGW
@wishbone1138@DC_BHV@82Lucybravo There's a tap to wake in the code that is currently disabled. It's something that you can dive into and see if it works for you. As far as the fitment, it's a problem for all wrist based PPG systems... Maybe implement a motion detection system to help reduce motion artifact???
@wishbone1138@DC_BHV@82Lucybravo Would be easy to have the splash screen pop up if it looses connection... Or sends a message that it has lost connection...
@wishbone1138@DC_BHV@82Lucybravo When you connect, it goes into its cycle of sleeping for 10 min and then waking up to log data. It only shows the splash screen when it hasn't been synced or on reboot.
