Today something got me thinking. Stay with me.
I reflected on the number of lives we lose due to them not being able to access Healthcare.
I pondered on the number of people that have died because we have a dysfunctional emergency system.
Is Healthcare well funded?
#WHXLAGOS
Will we ever get to experience this in Nigeria?
No facility. Government or privately owned, not even the Aso Villa is as beautiful as this hospital.
And it’s free for all.
All our leaders have stolen all the money.
The best hospital in Central America.
With every medical specialty, the most advanced technology in the world, and top-quality care.
Public. Dignified. Free. For everyone.
A mason in Nigeria earns N15,000/day.
That’s N390,000/month laying blocks.
A medical officer, 6 years of medical school, housemanship, NYSC earns N10,000-N12,000/day.
N300,000 a month to keep people alive.
The man building your fence earns more than the man saving your life.
And you’re still asking why doctors are boarding flights to Canada and the UK?
The Japa syndrome won’t end until Nigeria decides that education and expertise should pay more than physical labour.
Right now, the incentives are clear. Leave or suffer. Most are choosing to leave.
This is a very good one Dan.
I encourage everyone from other parts of the nation to engage on projects like this that will positively impact our children.
I believe that we can move from a third world nation to a first world nation within a generation.

We need more Radiological diagnostics, testing. Oncology services, radiotherapy and more palliative care centers.
It is an untapped niche I see that is golden.
If you have funds or know people.
Do something!!!
A few years ago, I had a brain surgery, and every year since then, I do an MRI scan to stay alive.
I just did my latest scan at a facility in Abuja that I would have traveled abroad for before. So, the next time your doctor says ‘this test is not available in Nigeria,’ you might want to watch this first.
This is male hostel for University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). Eni Njoku hostel to be precise.
Every student in this hostel is living worst than prisoners.
We can’t continue this way.
US-based Nigerian doctor dies during Abia State medical outreach
Dr. Uzoma Nwaubani, a U.S.-based doctor, died after a sudden medical emergency while participating in a free medical outreach in Abia State.
She had returned to Nigeria with her husband and daughter — a 5th year medical student for the five-day programme organized by Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) in collaboration with the Abia State Government.
Despite urgent efforts by fellow doctors to resuscitate her, she could not be saved.
What began as a mission to heal ended in tragedy. This is sad.
So... It's official!
