@james_xond 13.
My Dad got me a job and a watch for my 13th birthday. The watch was so I wouldn’t be late for work. The job was washing dishes in a truck stop from 5pm to 10pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I hated it and he said if you can find a better one, take it. I did.
@wtfcetialpha5@MJRosenspire I have a Navy boat cloak I got from the Uniform Shop at Annapolis. It is circa 1930-40, and from the same maker who made FDRs. $35 in 1989 and I wore it exactly once.
@KurtSchlichter This may end up being "we acted in good faith, they didn't, henceforth, the rubble will bounce."
And I'm ok with that. This needs to end definitively.
@BasedMikeLee If your SS check isn't enough to pay your Obamacare premiums, that would be bad, right Senator?
See, you guys did that. You guys.
Own it.
@catturd2 I was stationed in Key West in the 70's and made that drive at least once a month. This was back when there was only a single, dual lane road. Many times that 122 miles took more than 6 hours to navigate. I'd do it all again for one more drive down the Keys.
I was the Medical Battalion Company Commander on a Marine base in early 2000's. I got a speeding ticket for doing 16 in a 15 and the LCpl said if I wanted to fight it, I had to see the Commanding General, otherwise 8 hours of traffic school. I had my dentist pull every Class III/IV eligible dental chart and made every one non-deployable and told their First Sergeants that if they didn't like it they could take it up with the Fleet Surgeon.
