@AaronMSTL He was godawful in the last 2-3 seasons. Couldn't get a hit to save his life. It marred his career in my opinion. I dislike him for collecting millions while turning in such a poor performance. Should give a lot of that money back to the Cardinals.
This is our daily reminder that Walker is a bust and the sooner the Cardinals move on, the better off they'll be as an organization.
Nothing is going to stop this ship from sinking.
The Blues find themselves freed from the D-corps cap nightmare:
- Leddy was waived last year
- Krug's career is over
- Faulk was just traded to DET

The new top 4 is Parayko-Broberg-Fowler-Mailloux.
@MattPauleyOnAir My tweet was of course hyperbole. I give Mo credit for the players he did acquire but IMO the balance of the scale is tipped toward the negative, that being the failure to properly reinforce the roster when the signals were there to buy.
The #stlblues got quite a haul for two players who aren't part of the long-term.
Schenn is a middle six forward now who maybe won't hit 15 goals this year. To get a 1st AND a 3rd, plus other pieces, is just unbelievable.
And the team shouldn't be that much less competitive.
I remember where I was when the trade news broke. He was the top 6 center they desperately needed. I took my wife dancing but I spent all night reading analyses.
Trading for Schenn in 2017 was the start of the center overhaul this franchise needed. He was nothing but a great player and person for the organization. Gave it his all every night for nine years.
Thank you for every, Stanley Cup champion, Brayden Schenn. #STLBlues
