Happy 5th anniversary! π Today marks 5 years since the release of Openplanet 1.0! To celebrate, we are launching the Openplanet merch store, where all earnings go directly to charity! β€οΈ https://t.co/xX1gtnhb6h
With Trackmania's release on consoles today, it's worth noting again that Openplanet will not be available on consoles. π
Fortunately, https://t.co/ZbqdjAOq8e will of course work and display leaderboards from console players. π
π¨ ManiaExchange plugin users for Openplanet: you may have seen the error "disabled by Nadeo", no i'm not banned from Nadeo but there's actually a issue that spams @Trackmania's API with this plugin. For safety, this was disabled. Stay tuned for future updates
Small hotfix for today's Openplanet update just released as 1.25.28.
It fixes a regression in 1.25.27 where the Openplanet menu wouldn't open if you were in the game's menus.
Before anyone asks, yes, we're fairly confident Openplanet will work with the upcoming Steam version of Trackmania. As far as we know there will be no real difference with the Ubisoft Connect version.
Starting later this week, we are reversing our current policy stance on visual speed-drift and ice-slide indicator plugins. These plugins will be allowed on the plugin manager for any game edition. In this thread, we'll explain why. π§΅
UPDATE: Here's the current proposal for solving the issue of visual helper plugins, based on suggestions from @Chris92_de and @That_Ski_Freak (thanks! π)

UPDATE: We are delaying this change for now until further notice. Player feedback (largely from the FS community) has made it clear that there is some more work to be done before we can allow these kinds of plugins on the website and plugin manager.
