-Freedom Across State Lines- We deliver privacy, notifications on State carry laws, reciprocity alerts, and travel guidance. No tracking, ever! @SweetwoodHomest
OpenRange Carry delivers clean, up-to-date summaries of each state’s concealed & open carry laws, duty-to-inform requirements, and real-time reciprocity notifications when crossing state lines. All data stays stored locally on the device, no accounts, no tracking, no cloud, and no nonsense.
Most importantly, at least 50% of all revenue generated by the app will go directly toward building our homestead project, At Ease in Dixieland (@ateasedixieland) will be a facility supporting homeless and at-risk veterans. Your support would help us grow this resource for the community while funding meaningful veteran care.

If you carry a firearm and travel, come check us out https://t.co/dhwBYwDbeu or the app stores. Our app is published and ready for traveling. Privacy is paramount to us, and we collect zero data from users. It is still a work in progress, but it works really well as it is. As a bonus, at least 50% of our revenue will be used to help us build our non-profit project for homeless veterans, @ateasedixieland.

Hey Pete, what’s happening with this? Have installation commands simply ignored another order? Have any service members actually been able to request permission to carry?
As a veteran, I would appreciate the ability to carry on military installations. Even more important to me, however, is the ability to bring a firearm onto any installation, even if it is unloaded, locked, and securely stored in my vehicle.
My family and I travel frequently, and I legally carry a firearm for our protection wherever permitted. We also enjoy staying at our nation's beautiful military installations whenever we can.
As things stand now, honorable veterans and military retirees can't legally travel across this great country while carrying a firearm for self-defense and still use the benefits we earned by staying at military installations along the way.
Pete, you have the authority to fix these issues. Make our military leaders follow your lawful directives instead of allowing them to be ignored.
This Independence Day weekend, remember: freedom isn't free — it's built on sacrifice, discipline, and the willingness to serve something larger than yourself.
To every veteran and active-duty service member: thank you. 🇺🇸

I honestly don't understand the mindset of wanting to protect you and your family, but not carrying all the time.
First off, I have children and even though they are trained, I will not just leave guns stashed around my house. Second, when I am at home I never know where in my house or on my property I will be, it is unreasonable to think I could have a firearm stashed in enough places that one is always within reach.
I put my carry gun on every morning, it doesn't matter if I am staying home or going out.
@Charizarding320 Having it on your person means it is guaranteed to be always reachable. If you care about you and your families security and safety just carry all the time.
@Charizarding320 Why not just put it on when you wake up.
I would much rather always have it on me.
Stashed around the house means you have to get to the gun. I don't ever want to have to fight my way to a gun.
