The standard for indictment exists precisely so that volume of accusations alone doesn't substitute for evidence. When a case with 20+ complaints can't clear it, that's not the bar failing — that's the bar doing its job. You can think the accusations are credible and still recognize that "many people said it" isn't the same as "it was proven." I'm not asking anyone to like Watson or think he's innocent — just to hold the same evidentiary standard here that we'd want held for anyone else, including people we don't like.
