@TrudyToogood@VisionaryVoid I not sure either. I’m assuming it has cooled uniformly. It would be interesting to mechanically induce movement into both beakers with different starting temperatures and see if that affected cooling times.
@TrudyToogood@VisionaryVoid But it takes time to cool from 100 to 35 degrees. When it reaches 35 wouldn’t it’s evaporation, convection and radiation be the same a beaker starting cooling at 35 degrees. I like to think the answer will be much more interesting.

@GaardoWealth@Kipsleyanne Fusion reactors generate very little waste but are only in the research phase with any commercial implementation being at least a generation away assuming there are no issues with the technology.
@GaardoWealth@Kipsleyanne Thorium reactors could be acceptable as they only require storage for hundreds of years. At present on China operates a single 2MW thorium reactor so that technology is only in the development stage.
