Every time they courageously tell their stories, they revisit that tremendous pain in the hopes that PC will change and stop inflicting harm on future students and other members of its community. The Black Studies Program stands in solidarity with you.

PC’s Black and Indigenous students, and all students of color as well as students from other minoritized and marginalized communities carry a tremendous amount of trauma stemming from their experiences of racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, and other forms of oppression at PC.

We will continue to call out @providencecol until they put forth concrete plans and invest in their students safety inside the classroom as well as on and around campus!

Today over 25 current students and alumni joined a Faculty Senste meeting to voice grievances as well as call for more accountability for faculty, staff, and students who discriminate against BIPOC as well as the LGBTQ community.
