Nigeria's current interest rate is 26.50%.
Some banks charge about 30%, meaning for every ₦100k borrowed, you're expected to repay ₦130k per annum.
But @OPay_NG seems not to follow this.
Dear Opay, why are you charging ₦204k on a ₦470k loan? That's almost 50%. Why?
The Nigerian military is taking credit for “rescuing” some 400 hostages released by Boko Haram in Ngoshe.
That is a lie, of course. Here is the word from eyewitnesses on the ground.
Soldiers delivered ransom to Boko Haram, said to be somewhere between 3 and 5 billion naira.
Only Muslim hostages were released. The Christian women and children remain in captivity.
They were being held in a village named Gavva at the shadow of Mandara Mountain, three kilometers away from the military base in Ngoshe.
That is not a rescue. That is complicity, and a wealth transfer to their terrorist comrades. It is also proof and a continuation of the ongoing Christian genocide.
This is video of the Muslim women and children being returned.

“Why Would You Order The DSS To Arrest This Young Man Over My Video Without First Reaching Out To Me? I Carried Out The Whole Investigation, And After Further Findings, I Discovered That He Was Not The Person Who Created The Video Of VeryDarkMan Or The Audio Attributed To President Tinubu. I Have Also Contacted My Lawyers And Directed Them To Take Immediate Steps To Secure His Release.”~ Femi Unfiltered Calls Out President Tinubu’s Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga.
Daenerys Targaryen 'Emilia Clarke', added a special sparkle to the celebrations. It seems Arsenal didn't just conquer the pitch, but won the loyalty of Hollywood's "throne" as well! 👑⚽
🚨🎙️ Jamie Carragher on Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia performance in the Champions League Final against Arsenal;
“Let’s not dress this up. Ousmane Dembélé has escaped criticism for far too long in this game – he always has. But that performance yesterday in the Champions League final against Arsenal? That should’ve blown the whole thing wide open and put him right under the microscope.
Apart from stepping up and sticking that penalty away, he was an absolute non-factor. Invisible. Did nothing. No threat, no drive, no moments. Just floating around the pitch like he was scared to get hurt again.
And it’s the same story with Kvaratskhelia! The Georgian was anonymous the entire match – quiet as a church mouse, offered nothing, never looked like beating his man or creating a single danger. He wins the foul for the pen and suddenly everyone’s raving, but come on… that’s not good enough at this level. Not in a final.
These two lads are supposed to be world-class attackers, the difference-makers for PSG. Instead, Arsenal had them in their pockets for 120 minutes and PSG needed penalties and a bit of luck to scrape through. If you’re relying on one penalty and one clever foul to get you over the line in a European final, that tells you everything you need to know.
They’re getting carried, they’re over-hyped, and it’s about time someone said it out loud. This expose should be the start of proper scrutiny, not another round of excuses.”
🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney: “Arsenal have been robbed tonight” 🤯
Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.”
