Look carefully at this video.
Young girls. Barely out of their teens. Being mercilessly thrashed with sticks by men in uniform.
This is not crowd control.
This is a message.
A message from a government that has turned systematically anti-student.
How many more paper leaks will it take?
How many more NEET scandals?
How many more lives of bright young Indians destroyed by a thoroughly compromised examination system before we admit the truth?
The National Testing Agency has become a national embarrassment. Paper leaks have become an annual festival. Students are dying by suicide and the Education Ministry issues statements. The same government that lectures the world on “Viksit Bharat” cannot even conduct a clean entrance exam.
And when the youth finally rise — when they gather at Jantar Mantar and try to march towards Parliament — the only language this regime knows is the lathi.
Now look closer at who is taking the beatings.
Not the polished leaders of the Cockroach Janata Party.
Not the ones giving press conferences and trending hashtags.
It is the gullible, the sincere, the emotionally charged young boys and girls who believed this was their fight. They have been used as human shields by a set of operators who smell opportunity in the pain of students.
I have serious reasons to believe that this entire CJP circus is being carefully amplified by forces that want the authentic students’ movement — Chhatron Ki Goonj — to be discredited and derailed.
Why?
Because for the first time in years, the GenZ is looking at Rahul Gandhi and seeing something rare: honesty, consistency, and genuine empathy.
He is not performing for cameras. He is speaking the language of their frustration — unemployment, paper leaks, destroyed futures, and a system that treats them as disposable.
That terrifies the powerful.
So the strategy is clear: flood the space with chaos, create confusion, let the police do the dirty work on innocent faces, and then claim that “all student protests are the same.”
We will not allow it.
The real students of India are not cockroaches.
They are not cannon fodder.
They are the generation that will decide whether this country remains a constitutional republic or becomes a permanent examination-scam raj.
Protect them.

There is a particular kind of grief that belongs to the Sindhi community- the grief of a people whose homeland exists on maps but not in their lives, whose language is spoken at home but has no territory to call its own.
I have thought about this often in the context of my politics. When critics ask why a Sindhi should be a secular Congress worker rather than a Hindu nationalist, they are asking the wrong question.
Trauma can harden into hatred, or it can soften into understanding. It can narrow into vengeance, or it can widen into empathy.
Both my grandfather and my Nana Ji chose the wider path.
