The Medici Mirror is one of our most beloved pieces. Known as an "engagement mirror," Margrit Mondavi and Baroness Philippine purchased this Baroque masterpiece together. The frame featured family portraits and debuted the new couple's crest.

To help our Napa Valley habitat, we are seeding wildflowers in empty spaces to support bees, insects, and birds. Winemaker Michael Silacci says, "Wine should express itself. It should tell you where it came from.” We hope future generations taste the difference.

To prepare for Opus One 2024, our vineyard team is seeding cover crops, collecting vine clips, applying compost, providing first aid to marred vines and replanting damaged ones.

We replanted our River Parcel X1 vineyard. The team studied row orientation to maximize sunshine, widened spacing to reduce water requirements and chose a new, high-resistance rootstock to counter climactic change and unprecedented weather events.

Our notable Grand Chai is home to two vintages resting and aging in barrel. Our team routinely and passionately restains the famed red barrel staves after humidity, racking and pulling flaws their appearance.

One square yard of grass requires 291 gallons of fresh water annually. Our global responsibility is to partner with @reedhilderbrand to replace our iconic berm lawns with a drought-tolerant landscape consistent with Napa Valley's flora. We will share more updates soon.
