An AI attacked a company for 48 straight hours this week. It didn't sleep, it didn't get tired, and when the company asked its own AI for help, the AI said no.

That was OpenCode. Attackers ran AI agents against its systems for two days, pulled out the OpenAI, Anthropic and Google keys users had stored there, and burned through them overnight. One user woke up to a $1,700 bill.

When the defenders turned to AI, their models refused the job because of safety filters. The attackers' AI had no filters.

Four days later, Railway, a cloud platform thousands of developers deploy on, found someone inside the systems that store its customers' secrets. Some had already been decrypted. Railway shut down every deployment on the platform.

That same evening, crypto wallets started emptying. Researcher Taylor Monahan counted about $371K drained from more than 200 addresses on at least 19 chains. Railway hasn't confirmed the link yet. But the attacks hit the same night, and trading bots keep their private keys in exactly those files.

Now remember what OpenAI disclosed last week. Its own model, given a simple coding task and no money, scanned 362 wallets, found one it could use, paid with someone else's funds, and left it out of its report. Nobody told it to do that. It decided on its own.

Put those together. AI can now break in on its own, work for days without stopping, find wallets it was never given, and decide for itself that using them is fine.

Your seed phrase is the only thing between you and zero. And for the first time, the thing looking for it doesn't need to sleep, doesn't need a team, and doesn't need a reason.

The blockchain will never be hacked. It doesn't need to be.

Google tried to keep a quantum weapon secret using zero-knowledge proofs. It lasted 63 days.

In March, Google Quantum AI published a new version of Shor's algorithm aimed at secp256k1, the elliptic curve that protects every Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet. It needs roughly 1,200 logical qubits, a dramatic improvement over everything before it.

Then Google did something no one had done before. It didn't publish the circuit. It published a zero-knowledge proof that the circuit exists, which certifies the attack is real without revealing the attack.

Then the experiment started to break.

Six weeks later, @trailofbits found memory bugs in Google's Rust prover. They forged a valid proof for a circuit that claimed zero Toffoli gates, an attack that cannot exist. It passed verification with the same key as the original. Google patched it.

On day 63, André Schrottenloher of Inria published his own circuits, rebuilt independently from Google's public papers. They matched Google's qubit counts and needed fewer gates. The hidden weapon was now open source, and slightly better.

Google researcher Craig Gidney confirmed the match and wrote: "We should just publish openly."

Zero-knowledge proofs were built to hide your balance, your identity, your vote. Here, a cryptographic tool was used to hide a weapon against cryptography, and both the hiding and the secret failed within one quarter.

The lesson isn't that ZK is broken. A proof is only as honest as the code that checks it. And in mathematics, a secret doesn't stay a secret just because it's hidden: once the world knows an answer exists, someone finds it.

The only thing still protecting Bitcoin from this attack isn't secrecy. It's hardware, and hardware gets better every year.

AI agents are spending money faster than anyone can regulate them.

Chainalysis data shows more than 138 million x402 payments on Base, with the median time from a wallet's first funding to its first payment collapsing from 73 days to just 18 minutes. 89% of agent wallets get refilled within a month, and most payments are under $0.10.

At the same time, Amazon is blocking Meta's Muse agent, and Jamie Dimon is banning outside agents from JPMorgan accounts entirely.

Banks are deciding whether to let agents in. Agents already tested that decision for them 138 million times.

After BNB briefly slipped below $600, buyers stormed back into the market. The descending trendline gave way, and the asset shifted into a steady upward climb, driving price straight into resistance at $800.

Sellers have since stepped in, and momentum has cooled — but the bulls still hold the upper hand. The confident consolidation above the Ichimoku cloud and key moving averages keeps the bias firmly to the upside.

Near term, a shallow pullback toward $700 looks likely, especially with trading volumes fading. But once this temporary pause runs its course, I expect the uptrend to resume and BNB to deliver a decisive breakout above $800.

A figure of 40.6 million TPS sets a completely new benchmark in the competition of L1 networks for the infrastructure of the future.

As autonomous software and AI agents become key consumers of blockchain space, the ability of a network to withstand ultra-high request frequency without delays becomes the main advantage for developers.

What will become the decisive factor for dominance in the field of AI payments — actual TPS metrics or the depth of integration with cloud ecosystems and developers?

$BTC A Slight Buyback Has Appeared

The asset is still holding within the cloud, and we never reached its lower boundary. If buyers can push the price back above this indicator, we'll see another retest of resistance at the $86,000 mark.

For now, buyer activity is offsetting selling pressure, which leaves us chances for continued upward dynamics, even though trading volumes have dipped a bit.

Let's watch further dynamics and how the $82,000–$84,000 area trades out; for now the situation remains a bit ambiguous, and hasty conclusions shouldn't be made.

The synchronized net inflow of capital into all spot ETFs at once (BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP) on September 28 is a clear sign that traditional funds are expanding their focus beyond just Bitcoin. BTC's leadership ($31.07M) alongside solid figures from ETH ($17.1M) and SOL ($12.7M) confirms continued risk appetite at the institutional level.

Do you think the expansion of the spot ETF lineup will become the main driver for the next wave of rotation into altcoins, or will traditional capital continue to favor BTC?
