#SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan highlights the importance of maximizing autonomy across the maritime and air domains to enhance all-domain awareness. In collaboration with members of the Americas Counter Cartel Coalition (A3C) and regional allies, the SOUTHCOM Autonomous Warfare Command (SAWC) is embracing cost-effective, autonomous, and unmanned systems to disrupt and degrade narco-terrorist and cartel networks.

By applying total systemic friction through SAWC, we are supporting regional stability in new and effective ways. The Western Hemisphere will no longer be a permissive environment for malign actors or illicit activities.

On Friday 31st July, a United States Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II crashed short of the runway at MCAS Miramar, California.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection Seat.

Earlier today, a Hungarian JAS-39C Gripen crashed under unknown circumstances near Szolnok.
The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker S10LS Ejection Seat.

As Forças Armadas dos EUA divulgaram imagens do porta-aviões USS George Washington, da classe Nimitz, navegando pelo Estreito de Malaca e lançando jatos no Oceano Índico.

Um oficial americano, falando sob condição de anonimato, havia dito anteriormente que o porta-aviões George Washington estava se dirigindo à região com a intenção de "substituir" o porta-aviões USS Abraham Lincoln. Essa movimentação já estava planejada, afirmou o oficial.

Segundo nota da SpaceX, "após aproximadamente 24 dias no mar, a equipe de Recuperação da SpaceX guiou com sucesso a Starship para uma localização próxima à costa da Ilha do Natal.
