@VinbeeEX There are some issues with the new system but these are more about opening the door to future changes. I don’t think it’s entirely fair to say it’s worse than Sparks; it simply isn’t.

@rukarindie Just out of curiosity, what math are you referring to? Is it for getting extra eleph? Ive ran the math for the a double concurrent banner with the old and the new system, and the new system has lower medians, averages, 90th pctls, and a lower probability of having to go to 400.

@DarkyVA It’s not strictly worse though, if you’re just rolling to get the character of 1 or 2 banners, the new system is almost always better. There’s some issues with it, but i think for a majority of players its a statistical improvement.

@Iloveyoukoyuki @Alt1A49572 I dont think so, i ran the numbers and on average it should take less rolls to get both 1 and 2 characters. The 90th pctl is also much less for the new system. I think this system really only screws over people who roll for eleph. Ive confirmed it with 1M simulations.

I also wrote a simple simulation. Which gave me the following numbers:

Old Average = 192.521695
New Average = 180.0811

median : 200 pulls (24,000 pyroxene)
90th pctl: 328 pulls (39,360 pyroxene)
P(worst = 400 pulls): 6.06%
