🧪 Ordiswap V3 AMM Developer Update

TL;DR: We have made significant improvements to the user experience in the AMM & we are almost there ⌛️ 🧡

A few changes that allowlisted community members have already started to notice on V3:

→ With a lot of frontend and backend improvements to the system, swaps and liquidity provision/removal have been further upgraded
→ Better UI for pool and fees volume
→ Better error handling, with methods to simulate transactions before execution
→ Greater throughput with better order management
→ Enhanced trader UI — search bars are better functional and new filters help sort pools by TVL or volume

As always, we are thankful to the allowlisted community for their valuable feedback that has truly driven the direction that V3 has gone in 🧡

The 1st-ever AMM on the Bitcoin native layer is now officially bigger, better and faster than ever ⚡️

Now, users can:

→ Swap BRC-20s (and more to come) at 2x speeds with wallets like @unisat_wallet, @phantom, @okx and @xverse
→ Transfer tokens cross-chain b/w Bitcoin and Ethereum via @THORChain LPs
→ Provide liquidity to their favourite BRC-20 token for rewards & yields
→ Permissionlessly create their own pools with LP tokens

And that's barely scratching the surface!

We have made some epoch-defining upgrades that push the boundaries for what is possible in #BTCFi — and lots more in the immediate pipeline 👀

How Ordiswap Works

The Ordiswap AMM enables users to engage in BTC/BRC-20 trades directly on Bitcoin's native layer.

🏦 Think Uniswap on Ethereum. Ordiswap is the closest thing possible to Uni V2's logic implementation on #BTC:

→ All txns are processsed solely on the L1, with an amalgamation of indexers including Unisat, Ordinals & Ordiswap's own version.
→ Focus on permissionless, transparent growth of DeFi liquidity on Bitcoin

❓ How have we achieved this?

Performance Upgrades

⛓️ V2 reduces the block confirmation time by a whopping 200% (from 4-5 confirmations to 2-3)

→ Addition and removal of liquidity is completed in just 3 blocks
→ BRC-20 tokens can be bought in 2 blocks
→ BRC-20s can be sold in just 3 blocks

⚡️ The result: Enhanced speed and responsiveness.

Frontend and Backend Improvements

→ Code architecture is migrated from JS to Typescript for scalability & better UX 💻
→ Swagger module delivers enhanced 3rd party API architecture
→ The backend framework is migrated from Express to Nest for modularity & consistency 🧩
→ Much better error handling and user asset security

The Road Ahead

→ We are metaprotocol-agnostic and are capable of supporting everything from SRC-20s to CBRC-20s, Atomicals, Runes, etc.
→ With decentralization and security in mind, we are exploring the implementation of black-and-white modules. This bestows a lot more flexibility, plus all off-chain executions are done respecting the code posted via the modules.
→ We will continue to work with @thesis_co, @threesigmaxyz and @SlowMist_Team, top auditors in the space, to iron out bugs, optimize and further improve the platform based on live mainnet and UX feedback. A V2 analysis report is in the works too.

It is essential to remember that we started from a blank canvas in #BTCFI. There could be some teething issues, but as the first AMM on Bitcoin's native layer, we are truly excited at the endless possibilities ahead!
