I want to tell everyone about a person many people in the BTC space know - @HenkyBTC , the founder of @OrdinalTigerBTC.
This person is a scammer. Hereās the full story:
About 3 months ago, I agreed with Henky that he would integrate a BTC Lightning system and wallet login into our game, Cura World.
The final deal was $9k for the development + $3k for the Lightning channel (this $3k was not payment for his work, and he told me I would get it back).
Since he wasnāt an unknown person, I sent the full payment and the Lightning funds immediately.
He said the work would take a few weeks.
I connected him with our game dev, gave him all the information and the full list of tasks. He checked the game code and said everything was fine. After that, I just waited.
1 month passed.
I kept asking how things were going - he always said everything was good and described what part he was working on.
After 5ā6 weeks, I asked when it would be finished. He replied:
"Not asap. I am dealing with errors on your game side⦠I will finish it in 2 months⦠Your game is really complex."
I was unhappy, because at the start he told me the job would take only a few weeks. He then started justifying himself aggressively and acting like I didnāt understand anything about development.
He later said the work was 70ā75% done, so I decided to wait a bit more.
Two months passed.
I asked again and two days later he said he had more issues with the game and asked for website permissions (he already had AWS access from the beginning). I asked what the problem was - no answer...
He ignored me for 3 days, then sent:
"You know wat, I will update it to Git and you will have to find someone else⦠Your Godot game is built by shit ngl⦠will share GIT in couple hours."
I was shocked.
I told him to return the funds from Lightning channel and part of his payment according to the amount of work done. I also asked for the GitHub link to check the progress.
He ignored me again...
Since he continued to ignore me, I wrote to the people from our command GC and asked for their opinion (I won't mention any names).
A week later, Henky suddenly replied.
He found out that I might make this situation public and told me to go ahead, still avoiding all my questions. After talking, it seemed like we resolved things and continued working.
He said he couldnāt do the Lightning system, but he could add wallet login and set up payments using only the in-game token.
He also said he would close the Lightning channel and send back the $3k.
For a few days, he was in contact constantly, I sent him some new data, and it looked like we were back on track.
Then, three days later, I asked him to send the Lightning funds back because I needed them - and guess what?
He disappeared again.
Itās been 3 weeks, and he hasnāt replied once, even though I messaged him almost every day.
I was extremely patient and tried to solve everything peacefully, but itās clear now that he simply scammed me.
Itās been about 3 months.
I have none of the code he claimed to work on (I doubt it even exists), and I donāt even have the money that wasnāt part of his payment.
He lied to me the whole time and stole the funds.
I actually wanted to post this 2 weeks ago, but someone helped me get another response from him. He wrote:
"Hey man, I was on a holiday. I am creating a smart contract atm with Archā¦"
And about the Lightning funds:
"Is it okay I send you this before weekend or Monday morning?"
I told him to send it before the weekend.
Almost two weeks have passed again - silence, no money.
Today I had a final conversation with him. He said he would return my funds from the Lightning channel at the end of the month, but he would delete the code he was supposedly working on (scammer took my words as a threat and got offendedš).
Just understand how absurd this situation is. This person hasn't sent me anything about the project in 3 months, isn't returning the money that isn't even payment for his work (I'm not even talking about the money that was for his work lol), and now he says he'll delete the codeš
I want as many people as possible to see this and understand that you should absolutely not work with this person.
I think Bitcoin Tigers holders will also want to know who the founder of their project really is.
And I wonāt stop at this one post. Scammers should be punished.
Itās not even about the stolen money - he wasted a huge amount of my time and nerves for nothing.
I already have some IRL data on this person. I will work with that.
Have a nice day, everyone!
Since the correspondence is too long, I have posted the main screenshots in the threadš
