@McCainSuzanne I’m so sorry to hear this, the peripheral neuropathy can be permanent. My husbands oncologist had to reduce his dose because his side effects were so severe. I hope his treatment ends soon and he feels better.
@RobertHartwig3 @gbosslet Yes, caffeine, alcohol and salt all make it worse. Tinnitus. Both ears for about 12 years now. Can mostly ignore it but sometimes it’s bad! There has been some research on a bimodal method of relief. https://t.co/lo3FlqTtbz
@AshleyGWinter This is so interesting. I had a tubal ligation in 1996, doc said she cut tubes way back (I have rhesus antibodies and already had one stillbirth and one child born with BIND) as I knew I would never have it reversed.
@xabitron1 My husband is undergoing chemo currently. The cancer clinic now has a mask optional policy. WTF is wrong with people? The oncologist said, obviously try to avoid COVID. How does he expect us to do that when no one thinks it’s even a problem any more. So tired.
1. This is a must-read from Irish journalist, Tess Finch-Lees, dissecting the recent declaration from Professor Luke O'Neill that the ongoing pandemic is somehow magically over - a declaration made, seemingly, on the basis of a bad reading of @EricTopol
