Great guest lecture on new approaches in preparing for and responding to climate change induced disasters in Uganda by Alex Mugyisha & @NTALEEMMANUEL_ from @UgandaRedCross. Good example of a fruitful collaboration. @unihh

Happy and grateful to be back in the field doing what we love most: collecting data on crisis preparedness and early warning/early action in flood and drought prone areas together with @UgandaRedCross@unihh#ClimateCrisis
Sometimes I get reminded why I love my job and why teaching is so important when it comes to impact. Just received this anonymous letter by a student….makes me a bit proud
@julibartosch @CarolinAuschra @NoraLohmeyer @AOM_OMT@egosnet Important study. But without sound empirical evidence I would suggest that there are areas where female researchers are definitely in the lead: routine dynamics, paradox research, organizing and technology. At least strong individuals shaping the area
@KremserWaldemar @jkulinz Congratulations once more Waldemar. Well deserved! Looking forward to seeing you @jkulinz , still have very good memories of my time there.
This is a very important study on emergency governance. Command and control only works in very early, chaotic phases of an emergency. Later, local structures and distributed responses are key. Also see our study on Ebola response. https://t.co/HxeThpJRyD
